About the event

Come and enjoy the stunning scenery and scenic shores of Llyn Tegid at the edge of the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia)! We'll also be walking through woodland, moorland and stopping for a brief lunch at "the caves". 

A moderately strenuous circular walk in Bala. We'll be stopping regularly for observations and talking points about the local wildlife, the threats of invasive non-native species, and captivating folklore stories from expert storyteller Andy Harrop-Smith.

Mobility

You should expect the walk and talk to take up to three and a half hours.

There are no stiles to climb over on the route. The walk is very gentle with relatively few inclines. 

Public toilets are at the walks starting point at Llyn Tegid Car Park.

What to bring

Refreshments are not provided so bring as much food and water as required for a fair few hours spent outside. 

Please make sure to come in sturdy footwear (preferably walking boots) as it may be wet underfoot.
