What's involved on a practical work day

Our work days usually run from 10 a.m. until late afternoon and you can come along for the whole day or just for a couple of hours. All help is greatly appreciated and no experience is required. Our staff are always on hand to provide tools, training and support. All you need are old clothes (appropriate for the weather); work boots or wellies and a packed lunch.  We ask that you make sure your footwear is clean - biosecurity is an important part of our work

Volunteer work parties are a great way to meet a wide variety of people who share similar interests

Get involved by becoming a 'citizen scientist'

We also have exciting opportunities to learn about nature, and contribute to our understanding and knowledge of the natural world in North Wales. Whether it's monitoring important wildlife on one of our nature reserves or looking at some of the other important wildlife sites, this is a great way to increase your own knowledge and support our work. Staff and other experienced volunteers are always on hand to provide advice and guidance.
