Preventing Aliens Taking Hold (PATH)

Improving people’s experience of natural heritage through signs, walks, talks, and the management of invasive non-native species

Introduction to PATH

North Wales Wildlife Trust is continuing its on-going management of invasive non-native plant species within the Upper and Middle Dee catchment. This time we’re addressing the impact of the footpath network as a pathway of spread.

By focusing on improving people’s experience of natural heritage through signs, audio guided walks, talks and INNS management, we aim to increase awareness of the heritage found within the Special Area of Conservation (SAC), have a positive impact on how people value it, and empower them to protect and enhance it.

We're currently organising INNS events, activities, and designing walks that will compliment our upcoming audio guides.
Keep an eye out for updates on the project over the coming months.
