An introduction to pond life and strandlines

A close up of a person holding a leaf with snail eggs attached to it. The egg casings are long thin and transparent, like worms made of jelly, with small brown dots throughout. Each brown dot is a tiny snail growing. The leaf and hand are wet, and in the background is a pond where the snail eggs were found.
