About the event

Come along and meet the staff and volunteers who make the Brenig Osprey Project a success.

We are looking for additional volunteers this year for the osprey lookout, hide and osprey/wildlife room in the visitor centre. These volunteers are all about public engagement, educating the public about the work that North Wales Wildlife Trust and Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water undertake regarding the conservation and protection of the ospreys.

There will also be opportunities to monitor the behaviour of the ospreys and record important data. If you know nothing about ospreys but are keen to learn, we can teach you. All we ask is that you are comfortable talking to the public.

You can do as much or as little volunteering as you like, we ask for either a morning, afternoon or full day whenever you can. Full training will be provided.

Some of our existing volunteer team will be there so you can get first-hand information about what volunteering for the osprey project is all about. So, come and have a chat and see if it's for you!
