About the event

Come and learn all about the area of Bala as we enjoy the stunning scenery and scenic shores of Llyn Tegid at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park!

A moderately strenuous circular walk of Bala. We'll be stopping regularly for observations and talking points about the local wildlife, the threats of invasive non-native species, and captivating folklore stories from expert storyteller Andy Harrop-Smith.

Mobility

You should expect the walk and talk to take up to four and a half hours. Refreshments are not provided so bring as much food and water as required for a fair few hours spent outside. We will be taking a lunch break at the half way point of the walk.

Please make sure to come in sturdy footwear (preferably walking boots). We will be walking over fields and through woodland where it may be wet underfoot.

Public toilets are at the walks starting point at Llyn Tegid Car Park, and again towards the end of the walk at 'Lower Tryweryn Car Park'.
