About the event

Meet at Hafna Mine car park - we will walk about 3 miles on forest tracks looking at the strange habitat created by areas of old mine spoil hidden amongst the conifer plantations. Find out about the globally threatened lead moss of which Gwydir is a strong hold. We will stop for a picnic lunch, please bring your own picnic.

The walk will begin promptly at 10:30, so please arrive 15 minutes early.
