North Wales Wildlife Trust are very lucky to receive generous support from all sorts of grant-giving bodies, funders and partners; ranging from donations of a few hundred pounds for short-term projects to hundreds of thousands of pounds for large-scale, multi-year programmes.
The Wildlife Trusts as a whole are especially grateful to players of People's Postcode Lottery: a charity lottery which raises vital funding to support a huge range of good causes.
Thanks to the support of players, The Wildlife Trusts will inspire and connect people to nature through precious species and wild places; provide thousands of children of all ages with opportunities to spend time in nature through outdoor learning activities; and stand up for and defend wild places when they face significant threat.

Here in North Wales, players support ...
Going Gwyllt!
North Wales Wildlife Trust produce Gwyllt! – the first and only Welsh-medium magazine for young wildlife enthusiasts. Packed full of amazing pictures, puzzles and competitions, there's also a free wildlife poster or activity sheet with each issue - why not become a family member and see it for yourself?
Shoresearch Cymru
The Shoresearch set of surveys is The Wildlife Trusts' Citizen Science study of that space revealed each day by the outgoing tides.
Volunteers are trained to identify and record the wildlife on our shores and the data collected helps experts to monitor our fragile sea life and better understand the effects of pollution, climate change and invasive alien species.
The Shoresearch surveys in North Wales have been developed to address the needs of our local shores together with Natural Resources Wales. They are set to become a regular package helping our volunteers keep our shores monitored, with a particular focus on Marine Protection Areas and Marine Invasive Species.
Wild places to explore
Our nature reserves are open for all to enjoy, for free, all year round – but they only stay like this thanks to the support of our members and partners – including players of People’s Postcode Lottery!
