Unfortunately the live stream is not managed by North Wales Wildlife Trust and we have to ask other parties involved in the project to rectify this when it goes down, this is now back on and available on the Brenig Osprey Page , link at bottom of the page.
Saturday 6th August
Quite a bit of activity from the ospreys, flying on and off the nest and the perches, also spotted perching in the trees, and to our delight we watched 4 fishing attempts.
Sunday 7th August
Whole family moving around between the nest and the various perches Chicks feeding on the nest.
Monday 8th August
Ospreys flying around the nest and perches, fish arriving and chicks eating.
Tuesday 9th August
Again, a lot of activity around the nest site, on an off the nest and perching nearby. Highlight of the day was 3 ospreys flying high over and around the NWWT lookout, awesome!
Wednesday 10th August
It was quite exciting watching the nest site today, an osprey flew off towards the dam area, both adults and chicks were seen on the nest and the 2 perches. LJ2 was bathing at the base of the nest, then one of the youngsters also decided have a bath in the same spot. All 4 were seen together on the nest and nest perch. LJ2 flew off in the direction of the dam and returned with a fish. Both chicks were seen eating on the nest with LJ2 watching from the camera perch and later on LM6 came back with a stick.
Thursday 11th August
More activity around the nest site, on and off the nest and perches, they also use the broken tree branches and tree stumps for perching. Fish deliveries and chicks feeding, watched as 2 ospreys were flying over Gors Maen Llwyd (NWWT nature reserve).
Friday 12th August
Very much an active nest site with the ospreys moving between the nest, perches as well as perching in the tree branches and stumps, eating and seen flying towards dam.
Saturday 13th August
Another great day watching them going between the nest and perches, flying out in the direction of the dam. KA9 on the nest incessantly calling, LJ2 brought him a pike which he took off to a tree branch.
