WHAT WE DO

Our work on nature reserves

North Wales Wildlife Trust manages over 750ha of land including some of the top nature reserves across north Wales.

The sites under our care are home to a wide range of habitats and wildlife and include ancient woodland, upland moorland, heathland, species rich grassland, coastal lagoons and dune, and wetland.

These landscapes require a range of  techniques to ensure that they are managed and improved for wildlife, as well as safely accessible to the public. Aided by an army of volunteers, the Trust's nature reserve staff spend their time caring for our sites.
