Exclusive Wildlife Photography Day with Gary Jones

An osprey, a large bird of prey with white body and mottled brown wings, in flight. The osprey is just above the surface of a lake, holding a large fish in it's talons. There are small droplets of water suspended mid air falling from it's wings, and a small splash in the lake below.

About the event

Come and spend the day up at Llyn Brenig with Gary Jones, professional wildlife photographer. Gary is giving 4 guests the exclusive opportunity to join him at Llyn Brenig, he will be with you to provide advice on achieving the best possible shots, helping with composition, technique and settings.

Llyn Brenig has a variety of birds you can practice your birding and photography skills on, including the resident ospreys. Gary says: “Although I enjoy photographing all wildlife subjects my passion is birds, especially raptors, ospreys being my absolute favourite bird.”

Gary will give a presentation in the visitor centre before heading out with the group to look at and photograph Brenig's diversity of birdlife, including a session in the osprey hide only 150m away from the nest. Come and share in Gary’s’ passion and hopefully you will get the bug too! The day is ideal for photographers of all levels.
