Woodlands in winter at Penrhos Country Park

A path leading away through woodland, with 2 people in waterproofs and hats walking in the distance. The trees are thin and bare in winter, but some are coated in Ivy giving the illusion of leaves.

About the event

The terrain is gentle and sheltered in this mixed woodland. We will walk through a mixture of woodland and coastal path with great views across Anglesey. A variety of coastal birds may be seen such as Brent geese which over-winter in the adjacent Bedmanarch Bay. Within the woods we may see great spotted woodpecker, nuthatch and treecreeper.

The event organiser speaks conversational Welsh, please feel free to use Welsh or English during this event.
