Visit 'Father Winter' this Christmas (Morning)

A red squirrel sits on a tree branch in the snow in winter. The colour of the branch and snow match almost exactly the squirrels red-brown coat and white underside.

About the event

Come and meet 'Father Winter' in his outdoor grotto at Aberduna Nature Reserve. There'll be seasonal storytelling, wildlife-themed crafts to make, and each child will receive a small gift. Enjoy a winter wildlife trail, a warm drink and a mince pie!

Let your little ones share their Christmas wishes by writing a letter to 'Father Winter'—and then deliver it to him in his grotto! Join in the seasonal fun on a short winter walk through our garden, where you’ll follow a trail to spot animals in their winter wonderland habitats.

Wrap up warm, put on stout footwear and bring your festive spirit! We can't promise snow, but we can assure you of a warm, seasonal welcome from the North Wales Wildlife Trust.

Can't make it this time? Join us for the afternoon session instead!
