About the event

For those that know what to look for, ferns are an incredible, diverse group that bring our environments to life with their colourful green fronds.

It's the perfect time of year to hopefully see the very rare moonwort fern which can be found at Aberduna. We'll also keep an eye out for butterflies and other insects including small pearl bordered fritillaries, brown argus and hopefully dragonflies around the ponds.

This event is being run by the local Wrexham Volunteer Branch of North Wales Wildlife Trust.
