Living Seas is North Wales Wildlife Trust's vision for the seas of Wales. Nature reserves alone are not enough to support precious wildlife across North Wales. To enable wildlife to thrive we need to create more space that is better managed and well connected, with opportunities for people to connect with nature. As well as delivering projects in the wider landscape we also undertake development control activities to help ensure that building developments do not significantly threaten biodiversity. We also advocate for government policies that support nature recovery, and undertake proactive species-focused work – locally and nationally.

1 in 6 species in Wales is now threatened. We're calling for the UK and Welsh Governments to commit to nature recovery and reverse the trend of nature depletion.
