In 2022, China will host the Conference of Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal – also known as COP15. COP15 will be a crucial moment in the global fight to reverse the worldwide decline in biodiversity. It’s also an important moment in efforts to tackle the climate crisis and make the case for nature-based solutions to climate change.

Mae COP yn sefyll am 'Conference of the Parties' a dyma gynadleddau'r Cenhedloedd Unedig ar ei wahanol gonfensiynau. Yn 2022, mae COPs yn digwydd ar yr hinsawdd (COP27) a natur (COP15). COP15 yw lle mae arweinwyr y byd yn dod ynghyd i adolygu gweithrediad y Confensiwn ar Amrywiaeth Fiolegol (neu CBD). Cytundeb byd-eang ar gadwraeth natur yw CBD. Trwy hyn, mae 196 o bleidiau yn anelu at gytuno ar 20 targed byd-eang a fydd yn atal colli bioamrywiaeth.
