Welsh Beaver Project
The Welsh Beaver Project has been investigating the feasibility of bringing wild beavers back to Wales since 2005. This work is being led by the Wildlife Trusts in Wales as part of our Living Landscapes strategy and we now hope to undertake a managed reintroduction to Wales.
Gofod Glas project
The Gofod Glas project creatively explores people’s relationship with freshwater in the Conwy river catchment area. Through a collaborative partnership between North Wales Wildlife Trust, Dyffryn Dyfodol CIC and Natural Resources Wales, a team of creative practitioners will collaborate with communities in different and engaging ways; being open to discussions, responsive to requests and interested in ideas.
